On September 29th, the students and staff will be asked to wear orange in honour of Orange Shirt Day. This is a day where we honour and recognize the importance of educating ourselves around the impact of Residential Schools. Teachers have been spending a great deal of time helping students understand our history surrounding Residential Schools.
Thank you to all of the students and staff that contributed to the Terry Fox Fundraiser. We were able to raise over $800 for the foundation!
Together as a school community we paid tribute to the Canadian hero, Terry Fox. We thank you for your donations and look forward to sharing our grand total soon!
On September 20th, over 70 students from Ruth M. Buck will participate in the Cross Country Meet held at Douglas Park Track. We wish all of our students the best of luck!
